KTET Category 3 Question Paper

KTET stands for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test. KTET exam is conducted to recruit teachers in the schools of Kerala state in India. Exam Details

1. Eligibility

a.) Minimum Qualification

• BA/BSc/B.Com with 45 % or more and a B.Ed Degree in the subject concerned from any recognized university. OR
• To apply for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology, candidates must hold an MSc.Ed. Degree in the respective subject with a minimum of 50% marks from one of the Regional Institutes of Education supported by NCERT. For Botany and Zoology specifically, individuals with an MSc.Ed. degree in Life Science, achieving a minimum of 50% marks from any Regional Institute of Education, can also apply. OR
• BA with at least 45 % marks and who passed in LTTC.

b.) Age

• No age limit for this exam

c.) Nationality

• Must be a citizen of India.

d.) Number of Attempts

• No restrictions on the number of attempts

2. Exam Pattern

The KTET category 3 exam pattern includes a total of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and all these questions are to be attempted in 2 hours and 30 minutes. Each correct answer carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
