The Bihar Police SI (Sub-Inspector) paper is conducted by the Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC). The role of sub-inspector is to maintain law and order, investigate crimes and much more. It is a thrilling job for those candidates who want to make their future in police service in Bihar state of India.
Bihar Police SI Exam Details
A) Eligibility
1. Age
- Minimum Age – 20 years
- Maximum Age – 37 years for males and 40 years for females

2. Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream by any recognized university.
B) Fee
- Gen/ OBC/ EWS/ Other State – Rs 700 only
- SC/ ST/ Female – Rs 400 only
- The mode of payment will be online.
C) Scheme of Examination
It consists of three (3) phases: Prelims Exam, Main Exam and PET/PST.
Note: 0.2 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in both the prelims and the main exam.
1. Prelims
The preliminary examination contains 100 questions for 200 marks and two hours will be given to attempt all the questions. All the questions asked will be of General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
Note: For the main exam, the number of selected candidates will be 20 times the number of vacancies.
2. Main Exam
The main exam has two papers.
