Now, we are ready to provide the NPCIL stipendiary trainee previous year question papers that were held in the past.

Educational Qualifications

Stipendiary Trainees / Technician	Plant Operator	12th with Science (PCM) and 50% marks English as one of subjects too.
Stipendiary Trainees / Technician	Fitter, Electrician, Plumber, Welder, Carpenter, Electronic Mech	10th with science and 50% marks Mathematics as one subject and 2 Year ITI in related Trade
Stipendiary Trainees / Scientific Assistant	Physics / Chemistry	BSC with 60% marks in related subject
Stipendiary Trainees / Scientific Assistant	Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics	Diploma in Engineering with 60% marks in releated trade.
Scientific Assistant – C	Safety Supervisor	Diploma in Engineering with 60% marks 4 years experience
Assistant Grade – 1	HR F&A C&MM	Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 50% marks, English typing speed of 30 WPM

Scheme of Examination

Stage -1 – Preliminary Test

This test is common to all posts. It is a screening test to select candidates for the second stage test. And the duration of this exam is one hour (60 minutes).

Note:

Maximum Marks – 150
Each correct answer will be awared with 3 marks and 1 mark will deducted for each wrong answer.

Stage – 2 – Advance Test

The level of questions for operator Trainees (category – 2) will be based on the syllabus in HSC or ISC and for the other Trainees (SSC+ITI).
This test comprise 50 Multiple choice question. And the marking scheme is the same as stage – 1.

Stage – 3 – Skill Test

Stipendiary Trainees / Scientific Assistant – C (Safety Supervisor)

The selection will be based on written test and Interview for these posts.
The question paper consists of 50 MCQ and 90 minutes will be given to solve it. Here correct answer get 2 marks and wrong answer deducts 0.5 mark.
The interview will be of 100 marks.

Assistant Grade – 1

The selection will be based on two stages examination.
