The RPSC JLO stands for Junior Law Officer or Junior Legal Officer Examination which is conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission. The JLO is a person who maintains legal affairs for the government of Rajasthan. The recruitment notification for this post is released by RPSC on a timely basis. 1. RPSC JLO Eligibility
a.) Age
- Minimum Age – 21 years
- Maximum Age – 40 years
- Note: Please check the official notification for relaxation details.
b.) Educational Qualification
- Must be a law graduate from a university established by law in India or its equivalent with a three-year course of proficiency degree.
- Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
2. RPSC JLO Salary
- Level – 10 (Grade Pay – 3600/-)
- 9400 to 34800 /- plus additional allowances.
3. Scheme of Examination
This examination is conducted in two phases. The first phase includes a written paper and the second phase requires an Interview to be passed.

- Each Paper shall be of 3 hours duration.
- Pass marks shall be 40% in each paper.
- All papers except language papers unless specifically required shall be answered either in Hindi or in English, but no candidate shall be permitted to answer anyone paper partly in Hindi and partly in English unless specifically allowed to do so.
- The standard of language paper will be that of senior secondary level.
Note: Candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in the written exam as may be fixed by the commission shall be summoned by them for an interview for a personality test which will be of 25 marks.
