Age
- No upper age limit in the CLAT exam.
Education
Under Graduate (BA/LLB Hons)
- Passed 10+2 with 45% Marks.
- For Reserve Category – 40% Marks.
- Passed / Appearing Both Candidates are eligible.
Post Graduate
- LLB Degree with Minimum 55% Marks.
- For Reserve Category – 50% Marks
- Passed / Appearing Both candidates are eligible.
Exam Pattern
Under Graduate
There will be a 2-hour test with 120 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. The questions will be asked from these subjects:
- English
- Current Affairs, including General Knowledge
- Legal Reasoning
- Logical Reasoning
- Quantitative Techniques
Post Graduate
- The first section would include 120 multiple-choice questions with 1 mark each and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The question will be asked from subjects from undergraduate programs.
- The objective section will test the comprehension abilities of the students.
