BITSAT stands for “Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test.” In this blog, we provide bitsat previous year question papers pdf. It is an entrance examination conducted by BITS Pilani (Birla Institute of Technology and Science) for admission to its various undergraduate engineering programs. BITS Pilani is a prestigious institution in India.
BITSAT EXAM DETAILS
1. Eligibility
(i) For all First-Degree programs at BITS, excluding B.Pharm, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Pass the 12th examination of the 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent.
- Have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and demonstrate adequate proficiency in English.
(ii) For admission to the B.Pharm program:
- Candidates must pass the 12th examination of the 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) and show adequate proficiency in English.
- However, candidates with a PCM background may also apply for the Pharmacy program.
Admission Conditions for BITSAT:
- To be eligible for admission to any program, candidates must achieve a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects (if they have taken Mathematics in BITSAT), or a minimum of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects (if they have taken Biology in BITSAT) in their 12th examination.
- Additionally, they must have at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects.

Note: The online tests for BITSAT are conducted at centres pan India, Nepal and Dubai during May-July every year (in 2 sessions).
3. Exam Pattern
All the questions asked in the bitsat exam will be of type Multiple Choice Questions and the level of questions is based on the current NCERT syllabus. The bitsat exam is a computer-based test.
